Tollywood plans “Star Night” to raise funds on November 7th
Tollywood has finally come forward to raise funds on a big scale to help the flood victims in the state. Movie Arts Association (MAA) will soon organize a “Star Night” on November 7th in Hyderabad to raise these funds. A press conference was organized on Tuesday evening where senior directors and prominent actors like Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Mohanbabu, Jr.NTR along with several other actors attended the event. The film industry had organized “Star Cricket” to raise funds for a cause in the past too, but this time they are opting for a cultural show. MAA President, Murali Mohan told the media that the entire amount collected through this show will be presented to the CM and that it would help the flood victims. Several other actors like Balakrishna, Mohanbabu, Rajendra Prasad to name a few stated that the film industry is committed to help the flood victims both by raising funds and also to extend moral support.
