Meera jasmine, the Malluwood beauty is reported to be taking birth control pills from the past one month. In general,women consume these pills to avoid pregnancy, but Meera is consuming these pills as a treatment for her thyroid problem.

It is a fact that Meera Jasmine is suffering from a thyroid gland disorder and is seeking treatment. From the past one month, the doctor has advised her to take a composition of birth control pills with a usual does in order to suppress a hormone ejected by the thyroid gland.

This treatment is generally considered in the western countries, but in India this does not work out usually. But in order to suppress the Thyroid gland disorder, Meera has been prescribed a combination of birth control pills and a thyroid medicine which is said to work wonders in treating Thyroid disorders.
