Quick Gun Murugan in comic strip too

He 'comed', he 'sawed', he 'kaaan-kurred', so mind it! For those who think these are terms we have borrowed from Martians, then be ready to get the shock of your life. All these words relate to the fun-filled hero of Quick Gun Murugan (QGM). These words mean, 'He came, he saw, he conquered'!

Yes, he is the same man who, according to the rumours, had challenged even the Interpol to arrest him for possessing a gun! It's only after the Interpol officers conducted a thorough search and failed, did 'QGM' roll on the ground laughing his heart out, stating that he had a 'Gun' in his name!

This time, the characters of Quick Gun Murugan, his lady-love Mango Dolly and Rice Plate Reddy will appear in a comic strip with relevant and current issues like eve teasing, recession, reality shows and increasing electricity charges. These posters would be put up in multiplexes, cyber cafes and music stores in metros as the posters of the film. Some innovative thinking this!

Talking about the creative whirlpool, QGM director Shashank Ghosh explains, "All the characters in the film are larger-than=life. It is about their environment, their interpersonal relationships and humour. A simple poster would not do justice to it. So when you see the posters, you get the feel and sense of the quirky humour. We don't have famous faces but only famous characters."
