NTR’s new film Brindavanam was launched today (August 15, 2009) at Annapoorna Studios in Hyderabad. The muhurat shot was done on NTR performing pooja while chief guest Nagarjuna sounded the clapboard for it. Produced by Dil Raju, the film is being directed by Vamsi Paidipalli who earlier directed Munna with Prabhas.
Says Dil Raju: “Since the time of release of my first film Dil, I have been planning to produce a film with NTR but only now it has fallen in place. Brindavanam is out and out entertainer targeted youth audiences. It projects NTR in a new light. Vamsi took three years to prepare this script after his first film Munna. It is going to be sure shot hit. We are starting regular shoot from October and planning for summer 2010 release.”
The film has music by Taman and camera work by Chota K Naidu. “I have taken the best of the technicians for this film to give complete new image to NTR. I thank NTR for encouraging me all through my career.”
